Fed in Park Slope
23 July 2010 - James BooThanks to an overload of work and the disorientation of living in a new neighborhood, I’ve been off the food blogging radar for quite a while. I hope to break radio silence on this blog with a return to weekly posts on Tuesday!
Until then, a preview of the meals I’ve enjoyed as a newly anointed resident of the North Slope in central Brooklyn:

New Yorkers: What else should I explore as I continue my journeys into the entirety of Brooklyn? I’m looking forward to eating my way through Sunset Park and the old neighborhoods of South Brooklyn once I really get my appetite in gear.

me too, it’s hard enough to find time to post, let alone keep up with my reader list… didn’t know you moved again, but I love getting vicarious thrills reading about interesting neighborhoods and restaurants! Looks like you’re eating well.

It’s good to see you stop by again, foodhoe! More context: Park Slope is kind of like the Noe Valley of Brooklyn… much better pizza, though :]

hey james.
Maybe we can get together in Sunset Park some time in the fall for some of El Bohio’s lechon! I’ve been meaning to hit that place up ever since they opened that location. On 5th and 45th. Hoping the language barrier won’t be an issue. Maybe I’ll enlist a Spanish speaking friend (unless you already speak Spanish) to facilitate things. Yeah?

Yo Dean!
That sounds like fun. I haven’t been to Sunset Park enough, so any trip out there is welcome. And I can get usually by with my withered Spanish skills, so communication shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Hit me up sometime in September and we can get something together.
