The best instant Japanese curry is the ' Curry House ' I wonder how much fresher it would taste if made from scratch and in Japan.......

Ohh... I do miss Japanese curry. I used to have it with my grandparents who knew how to make it "just-so" and I've never been able to recreate it, unless I happen upon a good place now and then while traveling. A lot of the curry places around Seattle are Indian, which I also loooove, but sometimes I do miss a little taste of childhood.

Chopstix in San Diego serves Mabo/Curry rice. It's awesome. Sweet and spicy with tofu on one side, spicy and spicy with beef on the other side. So delicious.

Hurry Curry remains almost my only Japanese curry experience (http://theeatenpath.com/2009/06/12/short-order-zen/). I wouldn't be surprised if Tokyo 7-7's curry were the instant stuff.

Is it wrong that I like Tokyo 7-7's curry better than Hurry Curry's?
