Rebecca - E-mail us and we'll give you some recommendations! The first will be: Don't eat fried brain.

Mallory - That looks outstanding! Austrian Pastry Vacation 2010? I could have all of the Axis powers under my belt before I turn 30.

Nick - I'm sure there's some kind of Russian or Armenian snack you can find along the same lines... Don't know what the Hungarian demographic is in LA, though. I do hope that I can try a curry doughnut the next time I'm back in town :D

Wow, that looks ree-dic-ulous! Fried dough is always a good thing... reminds me of curry donuts in Japan a little. When will they open up a Langosh place in L.A. do you think?

<a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/AnasaziFox/DSC02428.jpg" rel="nofollow">Berry fried donut thing</a>

I'm sure it has a name as special as Langos, but I was too busy stuffing my face to make note of it. It takes the fried topped savory donut concept of Langos, but turns it into a sweet dessert by covering it with stewed berries and powdered sugar. I had it from a Christmas market stall in Innsbruck, Austria.
