I’ve been following your blog for a while and just had to say hi. The bacon baklava looks scrumptious, but I’d have to say, I am missing your posts on the southern cal area, since I’m from there! Enjoy your ability to travel and try different foods while you can.
Colleen – I did indeed go to the real Arthur Bryant’s at 18th and Brooklyn (?), but I did not go during the lunch hour, which I think may have had a negative impact on my lunch. I’ll be doing the writeup sometime soon, and I apologize in advance for the delay.
Abby- I just commented on your post on RUB. Nice review!
Colima Burger was my first story :) I’m glad you like it!
I’ll be moving to Brooklyn in mid/late-November. This isn’t to say no more socal reviews, but the geographic focus will definitely shift for a while. I hope the posts will be interesting enough for you to keep reading as an out-of-stater!
holy toledo… bacon baklava! I wish you had at least a few words to describe it… but then I kind of like how it forces me to imagine what it would be like… oh the suspense and torture…
